do a lot of CAH utilize the heated high flow o2 on their medical floor?

We use HFNC. -Western Wisconsin Health, Baldwin, WI (CAH)

We use High Flow on MedSurg - Guthrie County Hospital, Guthrie Center, IA (CAH)

We use it at Northern Cochise Community Hospital, CAH in Willcox, AZ

This CAH hospital did a few times, but we had only rented the equipment and it got sent back 6 months ago. My admin is trying to get us another

The whole picture has not been shared with me. 2 weeks ago I was told it was being "prioritized". We have been blessed thus far with being able to transfer people who may have needed it. I personally would really like to have the option.

You are lucky in the aspect that you can transfer, our last few patients that we have had we have not been able to transfer out anywhere....

which is why have requested the equipment, transfers have happened, but not easy. My system could easily be in the unable to transfer situation and want to be prepared.
